Kazakhstani content in oilfield services decreased by a Quarter
The annual purchasing of the oil-producing sector of Kazakhstan exceeds 10 billion US dollars, of which only half is accounted for by the domestic business. Karachaganak Petroleum Operating B.V. (KPO) announced 2 June 2021 that Giancarlo Ruiu will lead KPO starting June the 2nd 2021 as the new KPO General Director, replacing Gabriele Giona, who has been appointed for Eni in Egypt as Managing Director of Agiba Petroleum Company.

On April 29, it was 110 years since a powerful gush of oil was produced from well No. 3 at the Dossor field, from a depth of 225-226 meters of Middle Jurassic sediments.
